my
Photography journey
NOT JUST A HOBBY
Senior Year of high school, I took a Photo 1 class as a random filler for an open slot in my schedule. I was Editor in Chief of the Yearbook at the time, so photography with freshmen gave me the opportunity to learn a small bit about the photos I wasusing for the book. From this small ripple came a genuine interest in the topic. My outward pride for the yearbook and my mom’s broad network of friends willing to take me on led me to start photographing at bridal showers, Bat Mitzvahs, Private Portrait sessions, etc. At the end of that photo class, my parents gifted me my first DSLR Camera. To this day, I take jobs from friends, friends of friends, and new people that have heard of me through the grapevine. The progress of my work is shown below.
