Project 1:

Outline of an Intierior

My Time at the Knowlton School of Architecture at The Ohio State University taught me many things about composition, history and the importance of being intelligent and detail oriented.

This first project explored just that. The task was to find an object and produce plans, elevations and multiple sections. I chose a flashlight, which meant my sections had to be researched and predicted, as I couldn’t actually cut up my flashlight. For extra credit, we were to make a collage of the object in its contextual environment. This first project taught me so much about how an item exists in a space as it serves its purpose, and the intricacy and importance of the details that compose it.
